| I was initially planning on doing a 5k race today, but I noticed pain on the outside of my left foot yesterday and so decided against it since the intention was to go out to break 25mins. I did eventually get out of bed around 9am after reading for about 2 hours, upon getting out I saw my next door neighbor running ahead, so I ran in the hopes of catching up to her. When I got to her she indicated that she was going down to Giant Eagle to pickup a prescription, so I decided to go along with her. It was a very pleasant run, and we got a chance to catch up, she put a team together for the Akron Marathon relay so we will be riding down together. This was a base run. Got back home did Cathe 4 day split - Chest and Back and then Jennifer Kris Yin Yoga then went outside to pull weeds off the front and back flower beds. Activity

Didn't get up this morning to workout just needed more rest after hanging with the teenage boys all night Saturday since I was informed that sleepovers are not meant for sleeping and then Sunday we had to go to one of my son's friend's graduation party and we stayed 6 hours instead of the proposed 1 hour since there were lots of people we haven't seen in a while and good conversation, so Sunday was definitely a rest day.
Today:
4.5 mile run (9.58 pace)
CLX Push 3
Core Fusion Pilates Scuplt Upper Body
Got the first harvest out of the garden of Swiss Chard and Collard Greens

Woke up late due to having the day off and went outside to get in my base pace 5 miler, since this is taper week, I really made an effort to keep the pace really easy as recommended, it was a lot hotter than I thought. 5 miles 10:55 pace
Back at home did Barry's Bootcamp MS Upper Body Beginner, MS Abs Beginner and the stretch from the Lower body workout, then spent the rest of the day moving 14 yards of mulch.

Of all days, woke up and decided to do my run outside since it was daylight, yes there was frost on the lawn and the weather guy indicated that the temperature was about 35, well I wasn't going to back out now and for the life of me I couldn't make myself wear long pants, mistake #2. So wearing a long sleeve running top and my Brooks skort out the door I went and I forgot the gloves since I went out through the front door and not the back and they were in the car. My body was fine but my fingers were frozen.
I wasn't expecting the dogs to all be outside in full force and every single door in my neighborhood is a barker and chaser, so it was an interesting morning and also having to dodge all the sprinklers since it was too cold to get wet.
The schedule called for 6 base pace miles but I dropped it to 4 since I am suppose to be tapering for the race in less than 2 weeks and with the Thursday trail run my mileage will be up again since I know we are doing a 6 mile loop. The run was fine, still some fatigue in my legs but no pain, my gardening marathon probably isn't helping my legs, since I am weeding, raking, moving/planting plants. So 4 miles with an average pace of 9:56
Got back in defrosted myself then did Barry Bootcamp Mission Specialist Upper Body Beginner, stretch on my own.
After work, got in 2 hours of gardening, starting work on the rose beds and then did Namaste yoga to stretch things out.

The plan is calling for track work starting next week Tuesday with 6x400meters @ 3k pace, well I have never done track or even remember running on a track, I have to decide if I want to venture into the unknown of track work or just stick to my treadmill, I do have access to a track actually 2 just not sure I know what to do or if I can run as fast as the plan calls for without the push of the treadmill.
With it staying light out longer, I will like to get some run in in the evening but I really don't want to forgo my morning run since I think I mentally just need that and I never know what my kids are going to come up with after school that needs done or ---- so I may start adding 2-3 miles after work just easy run to enjoy the weather when ever I am able to squeeze it in.
Time to clean up the garden beds, need to get the roses ready for the new seasons.
PM
Well never got a chance to run after work, one kid had a church small group meeting he had to get, another a crisis that involved a trip to Game Stop, DH stuff he needs help with before his oversea trip on Wednesday and the cherry on top was my operators calling because they had a problem in the plant.
I finally just decided on 20 mins on the spin bike and Barry Chest and Abs, the 40 mins workout took me 75 mins to complete due to all the start and stopping that was required but I finished and my chest hurt from all those pushups.
Haaa life is good and my plant problem will still be waiting for me in the morning since I just put a bandage on it for now.
