Random Thoughts

With the weather getting warmer, getting up at 4:30am to meet my partner to get a run in is getting easier, and it will be nice to not have to bundle up so much any longer. With multiple outdoor runs this year, I think I am constantly doing laundry.
I ran with the Cleveland Running Store group on Saturday and had a great time, I think I may have another partner to do run with, when I met her at the store she indicated she was running about a 10-10:30 pace so I was quite surprise when we started, didn't go out together, that she was running about a 9min pace. At the first stop light, she asked my pace and I said I was hoping to keep about a 9:30 - 10 pace, oh you are fast she said I'll run with you. I told her she was running 9, she has a nike+ sportband and it must not be calibrated properly because her data feedback was different from my Garmin, yah by 1.2 miles into our 6 mile run she was done, I had her walk for a while just to reset and recover then we started back up we kept a really good pace until she came to a hill, kind of funny since I didn't even realize it was a hill (glad to see the hill repeats paying off) until I looked back at her and asked her what was wrong and she said she couldn't talk until we got to the top of the hill. I really had a great time with her and look forward to running with her again since I know I can run a faster pace with her and she can learn to run more miles faster. At the end of our run she actually had a 6 mile PR and we ran the last mile at an 8:54 pace, she really is an incredible runner just need to pace herself.

After my run on Saturday, had to run to the dentist to get my last wisdom tooth out, so went there all sweaty and smelly, that wasn't my intention I was goign to leave my run early and cleanup but said to hell with just to get in an extra mile. At the dentist office, the reception asked if I ran there since I was sweaty but told her No, I was just finishing my run, she asked how many miles and I said about 10 since I did 3.69 miles before meeting the running group, I was the talk of the office, why do I run that many miles, Do I do this every day, Does my body hurt. But the dentist the make one point that since I am very active when I go into have any procedure done I should always let them know I maintain a very active lifestyle because it changes how certain medication will work on me and some of my vitals.

I have more pain from this pulled tooth than I remember from the others, dentist said I have very strong bones so he had a hard time pulling it out so I have been on soft food since Saturday. My favorite to eat combo right now is oatmeal with coconut sugar,  coconut manna (manna from heaven), peanut butter swimming in vanilla almond milk.

Doing the training run for the Fool's 25k this Saturday then turning around on Sunday to run the Buzzard's 50k not sure am going to do the whole 50k but will see how many loop I can do, each loop is 8miles. Due to the chance that I may actually pull it off I have reduced the weekly mileage to give myself a better chance of surviving.
