Yesterday was the beginning of week 18, it is just occurring to me that I am nearing the end of this journey, will I be ready am not sure but I am giving it all I've got, this is going to be my second marathon but I did not properly train or fuel for the first, made every single rookie mistake in the book. This time around am doing everything to the best of my ability not sure what race day will bring but I know am doing my best.
Today's workout
Dynamic Flexibility
1 mile @ recovery pace 5.4mph
1x3k @ HM Pace 6.4mph-2 mins rest
1x1mile @ 10k pace 6.6mph - 2 mins rest
1x1k@ 5k pace 7mph - 2 mins rest
1x800m @ 3k pace 7.3mph - 2 mins rest
1 mile @ recovery feeling good so did base pace @ 6mph
Total 7 miles with an average pace of 6.2mph (9.36)
Running late for work so moved my strength training workout to Thursday.
