After falling into a nice peaceful sleep @9:30pm I was awaken at 12:15am with a text from my youngest to a question I asked earliest in the day. Now wide awake I found it impossible to go back to sleep and after tossing and turning for 3 hours eventually fell asleep, which translate to no long workout today.

Got in D2S P3 Complex metabolic, love that I was able to go heavy on this one and needed all the 90secs recovery, 3 rounds, 8 reps, right side then left side dead lift, clean, offset front squat and then push press. Started out with the 12kg for 2 rounds then 16kg for the last round, was a struggle but it felt right.

Was going to do another high intensity interval DVD that I got from the library but it was so dated and slow that I toss it out and moved on to the next. I decided to do Exhale Cardio Sculpt Wk1 Day 2 which was energy flow + thigh tone and stretch. The thigh work was ballet inspired and great, thighs were on fire.

Couple of rounds with the GOTR at the Twinsburg fitness track since it was only 36F outside, they are about as ready as they are going to be for the 5k, but body Sunday is going to be cold.

Something about a cold room and a warm body makes getting up in the morning hard, after snoozing the alarm multiple times finally got out of bed 90mins later and the rush begins to get a decent workout in, no time for D2S but we have 6.5 miles at base pace, so started on that, took it slow to start since there was no warmup routine, got in 6 miles before it was time to call it quit and head to work.

Got in additional 2 miles walk with GOTR, 3 more classes and the season is over, beautiful day today to be outside.

Recovery day today so did D2S P1 RAMP + Complex Metabolic and then added W365: Freed which is a great hip opener. The left calf was still very tight and painful so was happy to have limited sun salutations in this routine, I also noticed quite a bit of tightness in my hamstring.

After work today was GOTR Practice 5k, I am so proud of the girls, they really did a good job getting the laps in on the middle school track, I was expecting lots of whining and moping but they just got it done.

Going to do the regularly scheduled workout tomorrow, unless I feel the calf is worse off but may have to reconsider running with Shelby after work. Really hate that it is so dark so early, even the moon was already out on my way home. Beautiful full moon.

This was 5:38pm
