After spending 3 hours after work yesterday gardening, I work up this morning with a running nose but otherwise felt fine, the irony in all this is that even thou I love to garden, I am allergic to mulch and pollen. I normally don't take ant medication for it unless when I have to put down the mulch which I will be doing maybe next week.
So after doing a complete body run down, there was no reason for me not to go for my long run, headed out the house around 8:30am after eating a peanut butter sandwich, carry with me a water bottle and 4 pieces of shakies. It was a lot warmer than I was expecting even thou I was only in my skort and short sleeve tee shirt. I ran through the city of Solon and then to Twinsburg via route 91, turn around by the golf course on Glendwood drive. This run wasn't enjoyable, I finished but at a very slow pace my legs are just fatigue/tired/heavy, no pain just plain fatigue but I felt no fatigue before starting, the only thing that could possible be causing this will be the additional trail run in the evening after a hard tempo run in the morning so hopefully my body will adjust soon but I hvae to make sure I do not do the trail run the week of the half just to give my body a better chance of performance since this is the goal race from the Brain Training for runners race. So ran 13 miles at 11min/pace
Got back home, soak in ice water, shower and went downtown to the Marathon expo even thou I am not running, DH works downtown and was going anyway so I just tag along. There was no good clothing deal as far as I could fine but bought the hammer gel espresso and tri berry nuun to trial. Also picked up some sample KT tape to use.
Good luck to everyone running tomorrow, the weather looks perfect for running, was tempted to put my name down for the half waiting list.

Sorry to her about your allergies This is such a beautiful time of year, but for those with pollen allergies, it can be miserable. Regarding the leg fatigue, I that is probably to be expected since you have been increasing your mileage, and tempo runs will contribute to that. As long as they are tired but not painful, you should be OK.
